Sisters Sports Group is a homegrown force turning grassroots passion into powerhouse professional women’s sports networks. We started as a few Philly-based professional women’s sports fans who were tired of traveling to NYC and LA to watch the WNBA.
Our first endeavor in changing the game, Philadelphia “Philly” Sisters, proved what’s possible: a city can go from dreaming about a women’s professional sports team to hosting packed events, securing league partnerships, and inspiring the next generation of athletes. Now, we bring our proven model to communities nationwide.
What started as a conversation between two wives and a few friends has become a national movement. We didn’t have a playbook, a coach, or even a referee; we simply had a vision and the drive to make it real.
Through persistence, energy, and showing up again and again, we got ourselves heard by the key players who could make this change happen. We went from being on the sidelines to getting in the game alongside professional women’s sports executives and industry reps, professional female athletes, government officials, and men’s professional sports league commissioners and team owners.
And here’s the truth: you can, too. Sisters Sports Group is living proof that with passion, purpose, and a relentless belief in what’s possible, you can build something bigger than yourself. The future of women’s professional sports isn’t waiting. It’s here, and we’re passing you the baton.

there wasn’t a single professional women’s team. That didn’t sit right.
What started as a push to bring a WNBA franchise to the City of Brotherly Love (and Sisterly Affection) has grown into a national movement. Today, we’re on a mission to connect fans, athletes, and communities.
